External Pressures

Stress exists when we allow external circumstances to bring us internal anxiety. Demands and necessities put pressure on you which can lead to worry, fear, anxiety, stress. But the external pressures don’t cause stress. You have a choice. You can allow outward pressures to cause internal anxiety, or you can learn to be at peace and rest no matter what surrounds you. “Jesus said, ‘Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.’” Mt. 11:28
