Peace Defying Circumstance
When the angels proclaimed “peace on earth” there was no outward change in the lives of the shepherds. Life was hard. The Romans still oppressed Israel. There were still wars on earth, divorces in homes, and fights among men. How could the angels proclaim “peace on earth”? But Jesus’ peace defies circumstances and overcomes situations. It is a peace that passes all understanding.
2 Thess 3:16 “Now may the Lord of peace himself give you his peace at all times and in every situation. The Lord be with you all.”
