The Destruction of Pride
Pride is “Contending for supremacy with God.” It is placing yourself above God, and declaring that you are your own god. This is what the archangel Lucifer did when he fell from heaven and became satan. Pride kept satan out of heaven and it will keep you out of heaven too. Pride turned an angel into the devil: what will pride do to you?
