It Was You

It was YOU he was thinking of when he was beaten and whipped. It was YOU he had in mind when they forced the rough wooden cross on his back and made him stagger through the streets towards Calvary. It was YOU that Jesus saw when they stripped him of his clothes and nailed him to the cross. He saw the multitudes from every tribe and every nation dressed in white with great joy feasting at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. And he knew the results were worth the pain. So he laid down his life.

Hebrews 12:2 “Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame.”
